april begins with a bang

after my history class in the early afternoon, and after eating some dinner at home, i went out to jacob's birthday party at his building at Cite Universitaire. it was a pretty good time, and people definitely enjoyed themselves.

tom and his friends were supposed to come too, but it ended up being too late...so i met them on the Tram and we tried to catch the metro going back into the city. it turns out that we were too late...so we ended up walking back from the southern edge of Paris back to the middle. it took a good while, but it was still a fun night.

once we were at the Seine, one of tom's friends (cody) decided that he needed to jump into the river. i thought it was a crazy idea, just because it was so cold...but he did it! and he survived. so that will be a good story to tell someday, i'm sure. haha.
