being a bum is awesome

ok, so...Roxy has a new flight booked, and is due to arrive on wednesday morning now. let's hope that all goes well there, but it still is not looking promising. all airports are still closed.

on the home front, though, the weather today was finally starting to be more spring-like! it was in the mid-60's, and since i had nothing else to do (since i thought i would be showing Roxy around) i decided to get my roommate to come with me to my newly found corner of heaven. let's just say that he was amazed too, when he saw it. we spent almost 4 hours there, with a little break inbetween to go get some gelato near Saint-Michel. but yeah, it was such a beautiful, lazy day. i will be doing this sooo often, weather permitting.

upon returning home, there was a tv in the common room! so, i spent a few hours sitting there with some other people watching random shows in french, and i was loving every minute of it. i honestly miss watching tv. i haven't done so (for prolonged amounts of time) for a good while. and the fact that it's all in french is a bonus! i feel like that'd be a great way to learn the language more. i hope the tv stays here permanently...
