everything PSG!

i really hate waking up, especially on friday mornings. at 8:00 am.
i'm the only person i know (in our program) who has a 9:00 am class too, which is strange...but understandable, i guess. but it's very difficult to wake up, even if i go to sleep on time. (even though the night before, i didn't)
i usually sleep on the metro, though, which is helpful. and then i get a coffee in my building at school. but yes, French Language class was...fine. there's never really anything interesting to say about that. it's just grammar, vocabulary, etc.

i keep seeing these ads in the subway stations!

i don't get them AT ALL. i want to know what they are for.

when i got home, i hung out for a while...ate lunch, sat in the courtyard above my dorm building. here are some photos from it. it was quite windy and cold, but still nice. it'll be a perfect place to sit once it gets warm. but i'm sure it'll be very crowded too.

that evening, i met up with tom at l'Arc de Triomphe to walk down the Champs Élysées, since the girls didn't want to do anything after their art-walk for class. it was nice, getting to hang out...just us two. we visited a few stores and just looked around inside, with no intent of buying. Paris Saint-Germain has a store, which was cool...lots of team gear! everything you could imagine was there. we also walked through Place de la Concorde...and Jardin des Tuileries, and past some kind of fashion event happening. and then down Rue de Rivoli.

then we met up with fiona at a place near Place du Châtelet to hang out after tom and i ate some QuickBurger. haha. krystina showed up a little later too, and then we (minus fiona) went to meet up with her friends from Berlin at a place called Pub Le Truskel. it was fun, i guess, but definitely not my scene. so i didn't stay long. especially since we had an early wakeup for our excursion. but once again, all in all...a good day.
