whirlwind of a night

i slept in very late once again, which i am starting to feel less and less weird about. is that a bad thing? i'm becoming so lazy here, it's wild. i didn't think i could become any lazier than i was back home. haha.

i  woke up around 1:00 pm, and eventually got downstairs to make a quick sandwich for breakfast/lunch. (my meals oftentimes fuse together) after i ate my sandwich, i went just across the street to the Irish bar on my street, called Patrick's. i invited over a bunch of people: tom, his roommate alan, gwen, caroline, fiona, sarah, and sarah's friend jordan. we watched Ireland vs Wales in a rugby match. i think the score was 27-12 for Ireland, if i remember correctly. it was definitely a fun time. we had a very Irish assortment of beverages while we enjoyed the match on tv, and i SORTA' learned the rules of rugby. it's actually starting to make sense to me! haha. but yes, it was a good time.

this is HILARIOUS! (and duh...very true)

once everyone left home for a little while, i rested for a little bit...and then headed out again to meet them for dinner & hanging out. this time we went to jordan's building, which is (surprisingly) across the street from where tom lives! we had frozen pizzas while we watched Wedding Crashers...it was just a random movie that we picked out from a collection that jordan had on his macbook. it was definitely a great evening! i like his place a lot.

when i was almost home (about a block away) a large group of people from my building caught me in the street...going the other way. they were going out, and they pretty much forced me to go with them. haha, so i did. i'm not going to say how late it was (because people will freak out) but let's just say that when we finally made it to where we were going (on the Champs-Elysees) it took forever just to get out of the metro station, because almost all of the exits were closed. it was actually kinda' scary...i thought we were going to be stuck inside the station for the rest of the night, until morning. but we finally got out and made it to the place, but they failed to mention the 20euro cover charge! so, i did not enter...because that is a ridiculous price. i took the Noctilien (night-bus) home, and made it there at an even more ridiculous hour of the early morning. ...never again...haha.

on the way! haha

THIS is proof that you're out much too late (creepy)

- exhausted, literally
