i'm not sure which one to go with, haha. they both sound crazy. but, that's pretty much what i am. so it's ok.
at 2:30 AM, i was awake...sitting in the hallway of my dorm building (where the wi-fi is better) to watch the Passion 2011 LiveLink. i watched it on my laptop. it was really great! and it was awesome to hear Louie speak again. it's been a while. he spoke about being a gatekeeper for the Kingdom of God, which was amazing stuff. it hit me pretty hard, too. because i don't think i've been exactly that for a while. and i need to change.
but yeah, i was hoping that at the end of it...they would open registration for Passion 2011. it turns out that it was happening a little later on. but nonetheless, i got to hear some great songs live and hear an amazing sermon. so, losing sleep over it isn't that big of a deal to me. i got to bed at close to 5:00 AM.

i woke up three hours later (i know, i'm insane) and went to my French Language class. suprisingly, with a cappuccino noisette at the beginning of class...i wasn't that tired! i was probably still running on the adrenaline from the night before. haha. class went smoothly...i'm speaking more and more in class. that's a good thing...a big part of our grade is participation. she just wants us to speak French! even if it's badly, she corrects us, and we learn. that's all she wants. speaking any other language in class is a HUGE no-no. haha. so, i never do.
inside the Montparnasse-Bienvenüe station
they are for ING Direct. how lame...
after class, i said i would come home and sleep for a few hours...but i didn't. i was too excited about Passion 2011 registration opening up in a few hours! i downloaded the Passion: Awakening cd (still waiting for my actual cd copy, though) online...which took forever. the internet sucks here. it's official. i did a little bit of homework, and soon enough: it was time. the same thing happened as last year, which wasn't surprising. their server couldn't handle it, and it crashed. and it took a few minutes to get it back up. but luckily, i had already put in most of my information beforehand...so i was able to just click through it quickly. and i was part of the first-1000 group...AGAIN! as much of a Passion-fanatic i am...paying $99 is much better than $139, especially if you're a broke college student in a different continent than your own. that's the main reason why i was crazed and refreshing the page non-stop until it worked. saving money any way i can, nowadays, is a big thing for me. haha. but yes, i am very glad to be done and registered so far ahead of time. i was registrant #300, which is also kinda' cool. (next stop: Passion 2010 World Tour: London, May 14th-15th!)
SOOO excited!!! wahoo!
i made some dinner (baking frozen chicken nuggets and country potatoes in the oven...and eating them with the rest of my goat cheese, lol) and then went out to Le Caveau Des Oubliettes (our go-to place) with tom, fiona, and krystina. it was a nice evening...very chill and relaxed. tom and i walked around the Quartier Latin for a little while after the girls went home. and it was LITERALLY chill outside, with temperatures at -1 C. i don't understand why when i come to this continent for a prolonged period of time, THAT'S when they have the longest winter in some 20-ish years or so! i HATE winter. lol, just my luck. but Etienne (the owner of the building i live in) thinks that this should be the last week of cold. i'm praying that he's right.
- full of expectations
