FAIL...sorta'

blah blah blah...same old, same old. i went to school, which went exactly as expected. haha. nothing interesting. i DID have lunch at an asian restaurant with tom, though, which was enjoyable. i had some great beef soup a la citronelle!

for learning verb conjugations in passé composé

after school, i went home and made my extravagant salad (again) for dinner...and yes, it was delicious. i skyped with olga for a little bit, which was nice. there's so much stuff going on back in atlanta, though...i feel like life will be completely different when i get back there in june. ugh, it's making me worry. no more of that.

i went to a concert later that night. i actually almost forgot i even had a ticket to it, but whatever. haha. the area was really sketchy, which i did not like. and it took a while to even find the venue. but after all that trouble, i made to the entrance and the guy at the door scanned my printed ticket...and he said that it has already been used. i told him that's impossible, but there was nothing he could do. of course, he didn't believe me. so...that was definitely a fail. there goes $30ish dollars, that i spent a few months ago. i was upset for a minute or two, but there was no point in getting angry, since nothing could be done. oh well.

so...instead, i went into the center of town and met up with tom, and later on fiona and jacob...and even later on, chloe and sarah! i think we had a really fun night, and it definitely made up for the lameness earlier. i stayed out too late, though...considering i had to take the Noctilien again. but once again, it worked out. so, i'm no longer afraid to use it. haha.
